no its not 112....tha answer is 360... the solution goes like this... let the son's age be x..so nepo's age is 3x...and nepo's father is 40 years more than twice of his age.. i.e., 2(3x)+40... the sum of thei ages is 1240... i.e., x+3x+2(3x)+40=1240 10x+40=1240 10x=1200 and x=120; x is the son's age...nepo's age is 3x=3*120=360....
